Author's note

Medieval Victoriana No.2 font by PJL is a free Gothic initials font with an ornate framed capital style. It uses a rounded, double-outlined letterform inside a square border, with tight corner flourishes and a small scroll-like base that gives the design a carved, old-print feel.

Medieval Victoriana No.2 works well for illuminated initials, chapter openers, bookplates, invitations, and heritage-style logos because the frame turns each letter into a decorative panel. It also suits certificates, poster accents, and historical labels where a single large initial needs to carry the page.
