Author's note

Medok font by wep is a free distorted display typeface that looks like it’s been torn from a splattered ink poster on a grimy alley wall. Chunky, uneven forms with rough, frayed edges give every word a snarled, hand-destroyed feel, as if the letters were clawed into paper rather than printed. The rhythm is bold and compact, so even a short word hits like a logo or band mark.

Using Medok, your titles instantly feel raw and confrontational—great for horror posters, metal or punk logos, game covers, zines, Halloween flyers, and edgy YouTube thumbnails. This free font works best in large sizes where its gritty contours can breathe; pair it with a clean, neutral sans serif for small text to keep layouts readable while Medok does the shouting.
