Author's note
Metro by Computer Support Corporation is a free geometric sans serif font defined by tall, airy lettering and near-perfect circular rounds. That spare silhouette gives the design a distinctly early digital polish, while the sharp, high-peaked capitals and simple monoline curves keep it from feeling neutral or generic.
Metro makes sense on posters, title cards, magazine headers, interface mockups, and packaging where a light geometric rhythm can do the talking. Its open construction also helps short branding lines and signage feel precise and spacious, especially in layouts that want a clean 1990s tech-era accent rather than a plain utility sans.
