Minster No 5 by PJL is a free medieval gothic font shaped by tall blackletter rhythm and narrow vertical strokes that rise into sharp, spired points. The design keeps repeating that cut, angular silhouette, while the opening capital adds a more elaborate, ribboned flourish that gives the whole font a ceremonial, manuscript-rooted presence.

That makes it a strong choice for book covers, fantasy titles, pub signage, event posters, and game branding where old-world formality matters more than neutrality. The pointed tops and compact texture also give short headings, chapter openers, and themed packaging the look of carved lettering rather than ordinary display type.
