New Amsterdam Extravagant Italic by Vladimir Nikolic is a free italic sans serif font driven by a sharp forward sweep and tall, cut-paper silhouettes. The repeated diagonal shears and narrow verticals give the lettering a fast, poster-like rhythm, so the design feels tense and graphic rather than neutral.
That motion makes sense on music flyers, sports branding, event posters, album covers, and headline treatments where a static sans would feel flat. Short packaging titles and social graphics also benefit from its steep slant and clipped shapes, which create a strong directional push without needing extra effects or decoration.
