Author's note

Newborough by Roger White is a free high-contrast serif display font with stately proportions and a distinctly theatrical sweep. Fine hairlines meet broad, curved strokes, and the pointed joins and flared details give the lettering a sharp elegance rather than the restraint of a conventional book face.

Luxury packaging is its strongest setting, especially for perfume or confectionery labels built around ornate, period-minded lettering. Fashion branding and magazine covers can use its dramatic stroke changes to suggest ceremony and old-world glamour. It also fits invitations and event posters with a formal, slightly extravagant theme.
