Author's note
Ogilvy Poster, converted by Alltype, is a free fat-face serif with a strong nineteenth-century poster feel. The letters push sharp contrast to the front: broad, inky verticals meet hairline serifs and fine joins, while the round forms stay soft and full enough to keep the alphabet from feeling stiff.
It fits packaging, magazine cover lines, book jackets, fashion mastheads, and café or theater signage where a short phrase needs that old poster snap. As a free font, it also makes sense for title cards, monograms, and big initials, especially when you want dramatic contrast without drifting into something ornate.
