Author's note

OldEgyptOne by M. Klein is a free ancient Egyptian dingbat font built from small, hand-drawn scenes and artifacts, all defined by clear contour lines. Its outlined symbols depict figures, animals, scarabs, and monumental forms in lively, slightly uneven pen work, and the collection has an approachable storybook quality.

Publishing is an especially good setting for these pictorial marks, which can punctuate museum guides, history books, and educational worksheets. They also suit exhibition graphics and archaeology-themed events. Each symbol can function as a compact illustration, linking captions and headings to the human figures, sacred animals, and architectural motifs found throughout the set.
