Author's note
Packard Clipper NF, a free Art Deco display font by Nick Curtis, draws on streamlined 1930s automotive lettering with parallel inline bands that turn each character into a small piece of chrome trim. That repeated striping creates a sleek, engineered rhythm across the font, while the rounded curves and sharp diagonals keep it rooted in period signage rather than generic retro styling.
It makes sense on posters, bar menus, title cards, event flyers, and packaging where a little machine-age glamour can carry the layout. The banded construction gives short words a crisp decorative edge, so the font can anchor logos, cocktail labels, diner branding, or vintage travel graphics without needing extra ornament.
