Plainfield Skinsuit by Mike Larsson of Mr. Fisk is a free eroded display font with hulking, irregular capitals. The broad letterforms look roughly cut, with chipped edges and uneven stroke widths. Their blunt shapes create a scrappy, handmade impression.
Underground music and DIY culture are the clearest match, particularly for gig posters and band merchandise. The battered surface also suits skateboard graphics and streetwear branding, where pristine lettering would miss the point. For horror-comedy events, the letters can become part of the artwork rather than a neutral caption.
