Author's note

Pochaevsk Ucs, developed by Nikita Simmons and adapted by Vladislav V. Dorosh, is a free Church Slavonic Cyrillic font with the solemn, calligraphic air of old liturgical printing. The letters mix tall narrow strokes with flared, wedge-like endings and small accent forms above, giving the font a distinctly ecclesiastical rhythm rather than a neutral book style.

It belongs in Orthodox book covers, monastery or museum identities, historical posters, devotional title pages, and short packaging names that want a sacred Slavic tone. As a free font, it is most convincing in brief lines, initials, and heading work, where those archaic accents and sharply tapered forms can carry the whole page.
