Puppeteer by Tjarda Koster is a free eroded blackletter font with dense medieval forms and sharply cut strokes. Its chipped surfaces make the formal shapes look splintered and old.
It can play the role of a battered theatrical title in horror posters, dark fantasy game graphics, and Halloween event materials, where jagged outlines and broken strokes seem to belong to the imagined setting rather than decorate it. For metal music merchandise and specialty drink packaging, the same worn Gothic lettering can shape a grim old-world brand identity, with the letters acting almost like a cracked emblem or carved shop sign.
