Author's note
Remake of Fabulous, designed by Dieter Schumacher after the Ray Larabie original, is a free retro sans serif with a blocky, 1970s mood. The letters are tall, heavy, and softly squared, with rounded corners and narrow cut-ins that give the font a compact, poster-like rhythm without losing its playful feel.
It fits naturally in album art, event flyers, shop signs, logo sketches, and magazine cover lines where a short phrase needs that chunky pop. As a free font, it also works well for title cards and big pull quotes, since the dense shapes and smooth corners make even a few words feel graphic and deliberate.
