Author's note

Rittswood Three Oranges by Rittswood Fonts is a free bitmap font with a chunky early-screen, game-era feel. The letters are built from large square steps and blunt right angles, but the rhythm is lively rather than rigid, with a few rounded-looking corners emerging from the pixel grid and giving the alphabet a slightly homemade bounce.

It fits naturally in retro game graphics, zine headers, poster titles, website banners, and packaging that wants an 8-bit wink without going cute. As a free font, it also works well for short cover lines, title cards, and logo-style wordmarks, where those big pixel edges give even simple words a stubborn, low-res presence.
