Author's note

Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, a free spotted-dot display font from UnAuthorized Type, turns the letters into chains of fat black circles with a playful, slightly unruly rhythm. The alphabet feels bubbly and loosely groovy, with curves and diagonals built from the same repeated dot motif, so the look reads more like a graphic pattern than ordinary lettering.

That makes it a natural pick for poster headlines, record sleeves, party flyers, kids’ event graphics, zine covers, and title cards where a free font can behave like image-making as much as type. It also suits short branding, monograms, and big drop caps, because the dotted construction gives even simple words a lively, almost beadlike pulse.

Description
This version includes upper and lowercase letters, punctuation, and many international characters. I also included some new UA Type dingbats (just to amuse myself, and so you don't get those annoying boxes when you type something that isn't in the font).

Fonts can get sick, just like people. This one was taking vacation in the Rockies, going to do some camping and hinking, and caught this disease. The spots gave it great pain, and it was jumping all around. I used my special font medicine to kill all the germs, but it was left distorted and still jumpy.
