Author's note

Roman Rustica, created by Jack Kilmon, is a free Roman inscription font with sharp wedge-cut detailing and a distinctly hand-drawn sweep. The letters feel rooted in antique monumental lettering, but the long curved strokes and pointed joins keep it lively rather than severe.

It fits naturally in book covers, historical posters, museum graphics, title cards, and monograms, where that classical character can carry a few words with conviction. As a free font, it also suits drop caps and short branding marks, especially when you want an old-world Roman mood that feels more carved and calligraphic than formal.
