Author's note
Shohl Plain by D. Rakowski is a free folded geometric caps display font with a crisp, poster-era punch. The letters read like black block forms mounted on angled paper panels, giving the alphabet a sharp trompe l'oeil rhythm that feels both graphic and a little architectural.
It works well for posters, zine covers, record sleeves, title cards, and short branding where the free font can lean on its built-in sense of depth. Use it for cover lines, monograms, or compact headlines when you want the caps to carry the layout by themselves, because each letter arrives with its own framed, directional shape.
