Author's note

Spheris, from deFharo, is a free geometric sans serif with a calm, rounded rhythm. The letters feel airy and contemporary, built from generous curves and simple upright strokes, with a near-circular e and soft joins that keep the font friendly rather than rigid.

That makes it a natural fit for app branding, packaging, editorial cover lines, poster titles, and wayfinding systems where a clean voice still needs some warmth. As a free font, Spheris works especially well in short headlines, logos, and interface labels, because those broad curves and open shapes give brief words a smooth, approachable presence.

Description
Spheris is born from a delightful contradiction: a geometric sans serif with rounded corners that seem to breathe.

Spheris is a rounded, geometric sans serif family. Its curves are not a decorative gesture: they are a structural decision. Each softened terminal, each carefully measured arc, is there to create a fluid, almost tactile reading experience. It's a typeface that doesn't impose itself: it accompanies you.

With seven weights ranging from the ethereal Light to the gravitational Black, Spheris is a complete typographic universe.

Spheris is alive. Thanks to its advanced OpenType features, it adapts to both technical and expressive needs.

Spheris doesn't intend to replace your favorite sans serif. It wants to coexist with it& and elevate what you do.
