Author's note

Stampede is a free rough cartoon display font with the feel of hand-painted letters cut from a dry brush. The forms wobble and lurch in a friendly way, with chunky strokes, ragged edges, and slightly soft corners that keep the whole font loose, scruffy, and a little mischievous.

It fits work that wants a handmade nudge rather than polish - kids' posters, comic headers, party flyers, snack packaging, and casual logo sketches all make sense here. As a free font, Stampede is especially at home in short headlines, title cards, and big pull quotes, where those bouncy, inked letters can do the talking fast.
