Steel Plate Font

Steel Plate by Shanaf Studio is a free decorative display font with massive, rounded capitals cut through by slots, bars, and circular rivet-like marks. The details change from letter to letter.

Those perforations echo machine panels, vents, and fabricated metalwork, so the lettering can become part of industrial illustration on music merchandise, game graphics, and event posters rather than sitting apart from the artwork. On magazine covers, the varied interiors offer a ready-made pattern system that can be repeated in borders, section openers, or other editorial decoration throughout a feature.
