Author's note
Stenso Stencil is a free military stencil display font with a blunt, field-marked attitude. The caps look heavy and weathered rather than engineered clean, with rough edges, deep cutout breaks, and broad shapes that feel stamped onto crates, equipment, or old signage.
It fits posters, title cards, packaging, event graphics, and game branding where the lettering needs that utilitarian, drill-yard mood without turning slick. As a free font, it is especially at home in short headlines, cover lines, and monograms, because the chunky stencil gaps and battered silhouette give even a few letters the feel of coded marks or painted unit IDs.

This was created from a vintage Stenso lettering et No. 12 from 1956.
It originally included only the basic alphabet, numbers, and a couple extra letters, so I created all of the remaining glyphs.

Description
This was created from a vintage Stenso lettering et No. 12 from 1956. It only had the basic alphabet and numbers a couple extra letters so I created all of the remaining glyphs. It’s rough and organic. Hopefully it’s a fit for your project.
