Storyteller by SpideRaY is a free handwritten font with tall, loosely drawn letters and an uneven silhouette. Its rounded strokes change width from letter to letter, with blunt ends and small wobbles that keep the forms distinctly personal. The spacing wanders in an appealing, unstudied way.
Packaging is an especially good medium for this lettering, since its informal marks make food labels and craft products feel closer to a maker's own writing. The same open, conversational quality also suits children's book covers and community event graphics, where the lettering can become part of a friendly illustrated scene.
