Author's note

StrangeBeings by Manfred Klein is a free ancient-themed pictogram font built from loose, hand-drawn symbols. Its figures include stylized people, boats, plants, tools, and abstract marks with the uneven strokes of copied carvings or painted signs. The shapes look deliberately raw.

Ancient and prehistoric themes make this collection useful for museum graphics, archaeology exhibition posters, and educational publishing. It can also supply signs and artifacts for mythology games, especially when the setting needs invented history rather than polished modern icons. Used as repeated marks, the symbols can form an illustrated border or a sequence that suggests a small, fragmentary visual story.
