Author's note

Tabetone, by Wep, is a free eroded display font with a soft, melted silhouette that feels halfway between 1960s psychedelia and ink spreading on paper. The letters look swollen and irregular, with rounded cavities and lumpy edges repeating across the font, so the overall impression is playful, gooey, and a little unruly rather than sharp or geometric.

That makes it a natural fit for poster titles, album covers, zine mastheads, packaging, and event graphics where the lettering can behave like image as much as type. As a free font, Tabetone also suits short headlines, title cards, and logo experiments, especially when you want the wordmark to feel fluid and hand-shaped.
