Author's note

The Hashtag font by Abo Daniel Studio is a free brush typeface. Its strokes look like quick, repeated passes of a dry marker—gritty, streaked, and slightly slanted—so every word feels in motion. The letters pack a punch without losing legibility, with lively texture that reads as hand-made energy rather than mess.

Using The Hashtag, headlines jump off the page for streetwear logos, event flyers, YouTube thumbnails, social media promos, food-truck branding, and bold poster work. This free font shines when set big with a little extra tracking to let the streaks breathe. Pair it with a clean grotesque sans for body copy to keep the message crisp and the attitude loud.
