Author's note

ThunderCats is Charlotte Iona Dymock's free gothic display font, and it leans hard into a fantasy-metal mood from the first letter. The letters are tall, sharp, and heavy, with hooked strokes, split-looking verticals, and dramatic pointed endings that make the whole design feel clawed and stormy rather than merely medieval.

That gives this free font a natural place on album art, game logos, poster headlines, comic covers, and title cards where a darker heroic tone helps carry the concept. It also works for short branding, chapter openers, and monogram-like initials, because the sweeping spikes and deep notches give even a few letters plenty of presence.
