Author's note
Toon Plain, a free cartoon dingbats font, is built around chunky comic-character heads with thick outlines, wide grins, and eyes that do most of the acting. The set leans into friendly exaggeration rather than tidy uniformity, so the letters read more like a cast of mascots - frogs, a moose, a piglet, and other goofy creatures drawn with old-school sticker and Saturday-morning energy.
This free font fits playful logos, kids' party invites, comic cover lines, classroom posters, and scrapbook titles where a single character or a short run can carry the joke. It also works for badge graphics and monogram-like initials, because each figure feels self-contained and expressive enough to function as a little emblem.
