Author's note

Tosca Zero by Billy Argel is a free eroded display font with broad, forceful capital forms. Heavy strokes and tight spacing create a dense silhouette, broken by scratches, chips, and larger patches of wear. The damage varies across the lettering, so the surface looks battered rather than covered by a uniform filter.

Rooted in grunge and industrial graphics, it is especially convincing on music posters and action-game title cards, with enough brute force for streetwear branding and rough-edged beverage packaging aimed at alternative audiences that favor distressed visual texture. Scarred letter surfaces can merge directly with cracked-concrete or scraped-metal imagery.
