Author's note

Royal 200 by Mike Larsson is a free eroded print font with a worn, old-press feel. The letters mix soft blotches, chipped edges, and slightly uneven weight in a way that feels more like ink catching on rough paper than a clean mechanical typewriter, while the broad serifs keep it rooted in a vintage publishing mood.

It works well for poster headlines, book covers, period-themed branding, title cards, and short editorial pull lines where that distressed impression can do some of the storytelling. As a free font, Royal 200 also suits labels and packaging that want a weathered, hand-inked note without drifting into rustic script or novelty lettering.
