Author's note

Typographer Rotunda from Typographer Mediengestaltung, digitized by Dieter Steffmann, is a free medieval rotunda blackletter font with broad, rounded forms and sharply cut details. The pointed joins, changing stroke widths, and compact curves recall manuscript lettering without the density of stricter Gothic faces.

Packaging is a natural medium for its old-world structure, particularly on labels for craft drinks or traditional foods, and it can lend historical weight to book covers. The same calligraphic silhouette also suits fantasy game graphics, heritage event posters, and merchandise built around medieval themes.
