Author's note

V5 Myopia, Roberto Christen's free bitmap font, has the blunt, enlarged look of early screen lettering pushed into a chunky display scale. The letters are built from big square pixels with clipped corners and abrupt steps, giving the font a near-sighted, zoomed-in rhythm that feels more game menu than clean interface.

It fits poster headlines, zine covers, title cards, music flyers, and web graphics that want a low-resolution accent without going cute. As a free font, it works best where the coarse pixel grid can stay visible - short words, logos, and stamped-looking labels make the most of its blocky, stubborn silhouette.
