VTKS Alcalina by Douglas Vitkauskas is a free curly, distorted display font with dark storybook theatricality. Its sharply flared caps are wrapped in restless curls and ink-like hooks, shifting between broad silhouettes and pinched, pointed details for an ornate, unruly rhythm.
That curling silhouette creates a dramatic, slightly sinister edge in poster titles and album artwork, while the free font can bring the same strange elegance to fantasy book covers, occult-inspired packaging, event graphics, and game title screens. The ornament feels grown into the letters rather than added afterward, helping type mingle with illustration and elaborate framing.
