Author's note
Wargames by Cheapskate Fonts is a free digital-stencil display font with a cold, coded attitude. The letters are built from chunky square modules and clipped diagonal cuts, giving the font a grid-driven, militarized rhythm that feels borrowed from old computer terminals and tactical graphics.
It fits naturally in game logos, sci-fi posters, arcade flyers, tech event branding, and title cards where short words can lean into that broken, machine-made pattern. As a free font, it also suits zines, stream overlays, and cover lines that need a hard-edged retro-futurist signal without relying on smooth curves or conventional display lettering.
