This typeface is inspired by patterns inside Wayang and Patran patterns.
Wayang
Wayang is an original particular kind of theatre from Java. When the term is used to refer to kinds of puppet theatre, sometimes the puppet itself is referred to as wayang. Performances of shadow puppet theatre are accompanied by a gamelan orchestra in Java, and by gender wayang in Bali.
Patran
Patran is a Javanese ethnic pattern that looks like stacked leaves in rows. Usually, it is crafted on the narrow and long parts of a building.
I created this font for it's my university assignment. But I found great joy in the making. :)
