Author's note
Wonderlism by Jakob Fischer is a free comic display font with cut-paper caps and a slightly off-kilter rhythm. The letters feel hand-shaped rather than engineered, mixing broad geometric forms with sharp slices and uneven joins that give the font a playful, collage-like snap.
That makes it a strong fit for poster titles, children's book covers, zine mastheads, party flyers, and quirky brand marks where a clean sans would feel too polite. As a free font, it works best in short bursts - cover lines, title cards, monograms, and other brief display settings where those chunky, improvised shapes can do the talking.
