Author's note
XLines by Mieke3000 is a free distorted display font with a strange medieval swagger. The letters stretch into pinched hourglass joins and blade-like curves, so the font feels part blackletter echo, part cut-paper ornament, with a rhythm that turns even simple forms into something theatrical.
It fits posters, album artwork, club flyers, title cards, and magazine cover lines where a short phrase can carry the mood. As a free font, XLines also makes sense for logos, monograms, and drop caps, because its split, tapering shapes give a few letters enough drama to hold a layout on their own.
