Author's note

Yabantome by Wep is a free rough-hewn display font with a feral, hand-cut feel. The letters look swollen and uneven, with soft corners, chunky strokes, and little nicks that make the whole font feel carved from bark, mud, or thick paint rather than drawn on a grid.

That makes it a natural fit for indie posters, game logos, zine covers, spooky packaging, and short headline work where a clean finish would feel too tame. As a free font, it also suits title cards, band names, and big pull quotes, especially when you want the lettering to feel primitive, playful, and slightly unruly.
