Author's note

Rotting Genesis by Masyafi Studio is a free distorted horror display font with letters that look torn from wet ink and thorny vines at once. The caps push a black-metal mood hard, with jagged flame-like spikes, ragged edges, and heavy shapes that make the word feel overgrown, corrupted, and a little feral.

Use this free font for album covers, horror posters, game title cards, festival flyers, and merch marks where the letters need to feel like part of the atmosphere. It also works for short cover lines and monograms, because the silhouettes stay bold even as the edges writhe and splinter.
