Nova Bomb Condensed Oblique Font

Nova Bomb Condensed Oblique from Tension Type is a free condensed techno display font with a steep forward slant, blunt joins, and very tightly packed proportions. Its tall letters feel fast and mechanical.

Motorsport, arcade racing, and futuristic transport are natural subjects for this compressed lettering. The angled forms suit team branding, game graphics, and event posters, where they suggest speed without relying on added effects. On merchandise, the lettering can become part of a racing stripe or machine-inspired emblem rather than serving as ordinary text.

This typeface is based on a sketch created several years ago. It was initially intended to be a hand-drawn typeface, but development did not progress. In 2026, I decided to revisit it. It is not intended for body copy.
