Nova Bomb Regular Font

Nova Bomb by Tension Type is a free techno display font built from sleek rounded geometry and sharply controlled stroke changes. Its broad rectangular curves and narrow joins give the lettering a futuristic machine-made profile, with an unusually tall vertical reach.

It can turn a title into an interface-like graphic for science fiction posters and game screens. Electronic music branding also suits its cool engineered shapes. The repeated rounded rectangles echo panels and device housings, making the font useful for technology packaging and arcade-inspired merchandise.

This typeface is based on a sketch I made several years ago. I initially intended it as a hand-drawn typeface but made little progress after starting it. In 2026, I decided to revisit it. It is not intended for body copy.
