Nova Bomb Oblique from Tension Type is a free techno display font with a sharp forward slant. Broad, squared curves meet narrow strokes, giving the letters a streamlined machine-cut profile. The uneven stroke widths keep it brisk and angular.

This type design was based on a sketch I did a bunch of years ago. It was initially intended as a hand drawn typeface. I started it, but I never really made any progress. In 2026 I decided to give it another shot. Its a bit sci fi, a lot square. Good for large text and logos etc. Not intended for body copy at all.
